A ROADSHOW will take place tomorrow to allow residents of an East Yorkshire town to find out more about the Tour de Yorkshire.

Welcome to Yorkshire will host the roadshow in Pocklington tomorrow, between 3pm and 5pm, and is one of 30 around the region.

Previous events have seen up to 1,000 people turn out to find out more about details on road closures, the annual sportive and Welcome to Yorkshire’s various cycling legacy projects, as well as how people can become an official Tour Maker or take part in the Land Art competition.

Chief Executive Sir Gary Verity said: “If you’ve got a roadshow coming your way, I’d encourage you to come along, ask questions and get inspired on how we can all make the 2017 Tour de Yorkshire the biggest and best one yet.”
