CROMBIE Wilkinson solicitors have donated £460 to Acorn Community Care.
John Broadbridge, from Crombe Wilkinson in Malton, said: "Our staff in Malton have collected donations made by their clients and visitors in return for a good ‘swear’.
"Formal oaths and certification of documents sometimes carry a small fixed fee but people have been exceptionally generous when we tell them all their money will be donated to the wonderful local charity, Acorn community care.”
Ruth Holliday, from Acorn Community Care, in Norton, said: "Acorn is extremely grateful the staff team at Crombie Wilkinson have thought about donating to a local charity.
"With our barn conversion in full swing, we will use this donation of £460.69 to purchase equipment in the new workshop area, where the people we support with learning and physical disabilities will be able to participate in a range of different arts and crafts."
