A VEHICLE hit a 91-year-old man in Pickering then drove off without stopping, according to police.
The collision happened at 3pm on Thursday, October 13 on Market Place.
A silver motor vehicle hit the man, who was a pedestrian, causing him to fall to the floor and suffer minor injuries.
These were treated at the scene by paramedics.
The vehicle did not stop at the scene and drove away towards Smiddy Hill.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to the collision, or anyone who recalls seeing the vehicle, to get in touch as soon as possible to assist the investigation.
