"Intoxicated" man rescued from river bank
AN "intoxicated" man has been rescued from the river bank in Malton after getting stuck.
A fire crew from Malton were called just after 9pm on Saturday night.
They found the man on the river bank at Norton Road in Malton, having fallen down the river embankment and become stuck.
The man, 61, was assisted back up the bank by the fire crew and "suffered minor cuts and grazes".
He was then escorted home by a family member.
