TAKING to the panto stage this Christmas is nine-year-old Honey Chapman, from Norton.
Honey is already a seasoned theatre performer, having appeared in a number of productions both in York and closer to home.
She joins the cast for Cinderalla at the Grand Opera House, in York, after appearing in Coppelia at Norton College with Ryedale Youth Ballet.
A pupil at Settrington Primary School, Honey was picked from more than 150 children to become a junior dancer in the panto.
Her mum, Elaine, said: “She was in the panto at York last year and loved it. It’s something she wants to do as a career when she’s older.”
