TWO teenage girls were approached by a man on their way to school near York this week.
Parents of pupils at Easingwold school were sent an email on Thursday advising them to warn their children not to get into cars with strangers.
The email said: “I need to make you aware that two female students were stopped by a man in a black sports car on Wednesday morning near the Claypenny estate in Easingwold.
“Please remind your son/daughter about personal safety. School has reported this to the local police. If your son/daughter is approached they must report this to the police as soon as possible.”
The school declined to comment further on the incident.
