DETECTIVES in Scarborough have appealed for witnesses to an attack which saw a man knocked unconscious in the town.
The man, who is in his fifties, was assaulted outside the Valley Bar in Valley Road at about 1am on Sunday, August 24, but police have only just released the details. He also suffered a broken rib and bruising in the attack.
Three men and two women were seen to leave the bar at about the same time, and had been in the upstairs pool room for most of the evening.
