NEW luxury hideaway cabins have been launched in North Yorkshire.

The woodland accommodation has been built at Cropton Forest near Pickering which is one of nine Forest Holidays locations nationwide offering back-to-nature breaks.

The latest investment, which adds to the existing cabins at Cropton, includes the new Golden Oak Hideaway, a one-bedroomed cabin, equipped with a double sunken bath with a view of the forest, a hammock on the deck and a floor-to-ceiling forest view.

There are also new Silver Birch cabins, which can sleep up to six people, along with a shop and café, which is set to offer locally produced food and refreshments.

The cabins are made from timber and glass, and can sleep from two to six people. Some have wood-burning stoves, most have private hot tubs, and all have forest views.
