MEMBERS of Swinton Band are tuning up for their next performance where the audience will include as many dogs as people.

Following on from their successful appearance at last year's Little Habton Fun Dog Show the band will be playing while visitors enjoy afternoon tea and their canine friends rest after the fun and games.

Band Leader Robin Rutter, said: "t's amazing to see so many different types of dogs and thankfully they're too tired to join in vocally, although one or two did investigate around us, but I think they enjoyed the music."

The Fun Dog Show gives owners dogs and children a chance to compete in games including best six legs, or the prettiest puppy as well as an agility competition, and finishing with races.

It will be held on Sunday. August 17, starting at 12.30pm with a barbecue at Manor Farm, Little Habton.

Proceeds will be donated to Kirby Misperton and Great Habton Churches.
