FOLK fans from across the country came to Malton and Norton at the weekend to enjoy a feast of music and dancing.
This year's Folk Festival was extended to an extra day, running from Friday evening to Sunday lunchtime.
On Saturday, dance teams from across Yorkshire and beyond took part in a procession through the town, followed by Morris dancing in Malton's Market Place.
Elsewhere, music sessions took place at Suddaby’s Crown Hotel and the Blue Ball Inn.
An evening concert at Suddaby’s featured Gilmore and Roberts, Plumhall, Moonshine Creek and regular supporters, Two Black Sheep and A Stallion.
Helen Morgan, one of the Malton and Norton Folk Festival organisers, said there had been a good response to the weekend.
"We had a really good concert on Saturday night with a great atmosphere and audience," she said.
"The weekend went very well with a lot of local people coming along as well as folk fans from further afield."
