A PICKERING business has picked up an award for helping GP practices save money.
Practice Supplies, supplying the health sector with inks and toners, won the Savings for GP Practices Award at this years annual Caradoc Medical Services Awards.
Held at Shrewsbury Town Football Club, the event saw six businesses from across the UK pick up awards across five categories for the fifth year running.
Julian Barnes, director and co-owner of Practice Supplies, based on Thornton Road Industrial Estate, said: "With all the changes taking place in the NHS we're proud that we have been able to help so many medical practices make savings and helping their money go further."
Caradoc Medical Services business manager Peter Masters said: "We had some very worthy winners as there was tough competition in all five categories.
"All of our suppliers offer high quality products and services, along with excellent customer service and that really was reflected by the awards."
