The club held a fundraising dinner on February 21 with members of Malton & Old Malton Cricket Club including Mark Arthur, Martyn Moxon, Jason Gillespie, Ryan Sidebottom, Andrew Gale and Anthony McGrath.
Held at the town's rugby club and guests enjoyed a three course meal, stand-up bingo, an auction and a question and answer session with the players raising just over £3,000.
The evening was organised to raise funds to replace the cricket club's wooden pavilion , built by club members in the late 1950’s, which was destroyed by arsonists in May last year.
Club treasurer Joy Hudson said: "Malton and Old Malton Cricket Club would like to thank the Yorkshire players, all those who attended and made the evening such a success, the evening’ sponsors, Ian Mosey, Westlers and Hovingham Interiors. and those who donated auction items for sale.
Yorkshire County Cricket Club have offered to play a Twenty-20 match against a team from Malton as a further fund raiser in the 2014 season.
