THE “We Love Malton” brand has been redesigned as the town prepares for a busy and eventful year as the “foodie capital” of Yorkshire.

The logo will be used to promote Malton and will be followed by complimentary designs for the Food Lovers Festival, monthly markets, cookery school and Made in Malton label.

Tom Naylor-Leyland, from the We Love Malton team, said: “There are still features of the old logo, but we felt the new one is more attractive and up-to-date.

“It also sits better on our website, which has also been redesigned and as all aspects of promoting Malton as the Yorkshire food capital.”

Tom said an exciting year lay ahead with the regular monthly food market starting again in March, the cookery school opening and the Made In Malton label. He said: “There is a great deal to look forward to and we want people in the town and business owners to make the most of it.”
